Silos
Between 2008 and 2015, our group made significant investments, including building a complete facility for the reception, conditioning, storage, preservation, and delivery of seeds, grains, and technical plants, accessible by both road and water.
Results: We constructed two high-performance silos equipped with metal cells with active aeration and constant temperature monitoring. With a total capacity of 62,700 tons, we are prepared to handle large-scale challenges.
Strategic Location: Located in Borcea, at kilometer 57, on the left bank of the Borcea branch, this position offers fast and efficient access to Constanța port.
We invested in state-of-the-art equipment for loading and unloading grains by water, using pneumatic systems with a maximum capacity of 200 tons per hour. Each silo has such a system, and each loading/unloading station is equipped with a flow scale for precise measurements.
Technical Information
- Management and transport: We have three electronic truck scales with external displays, allowing us to manage and transport grains easily by land.
- Infrastructure: Our silos are fully equipped with car reception bunkers, conveyors, elevators, sub-product storage, and gas dryers. All operations are monitored and controlled from three modern control rooms to ensure precision and efficiency.
Equipments
- Truck reception/delivery capacity: 130–180 tons/hour.
- Barge loading/unloading capacity: 150–200 tons/hour.
- Sample collection: At the truck scales, we have installed two Rakoraf automated systems for taking samples from transport vehicles. These samples are then sent to an analyzer, granomat, which accurately measures temperature, humidity and hectoliter mass. This way, we guarantee that the integrity and quality of our products are always monitored.
- Inframatic device: Used in the lab for analyzing protein, oil, wet gluten.
- Falling Number device: This machine measures the falling number index and is accompanied by a lab mill and drying oven.
